Welcome everyone to the score fantasy football podcast. I'm your host, Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at the score.

Appreciate you starting your week off with us here. And unfortunately, it was one of those weeks. We got a ton of injury news from Sunday's games. A bunch of fantasy starters got hurt and could miss significant time. We're to get you caught up on all the latest new injuries here. And we'll take a look at the top waiver ads at the end of the show. Don't worry. That is the second part of these Monday shows. Get you ready for the waiver wire heading into week three. But let's start with all these injuries because it's going to take a while here. We'll begin with quarterback, which is one of the lighter positions for injuries this week. But we did have Justin Herbert injuring his knee or his ankle, it I'm not sure which one he ended up in the

0:54.7

blue medical tent fortunately he returned to the game but according to beat writers he was

0:59.2

walking with a significant limp afterwards he told reporters he's going to undergo some

1:03.3

testing in the next couple days they'll find out what it is obviously we're hoping this

1:07.6

doesn't have anything to do with that foot injury that he dealt with this summer, but that's one of the reasons we were fading Herbert this year. So Taylor Heinecke, he would be the next man up if Herbert had to miss some time. He's not a great option. It's not really a great situation for a fantasy quarterback either. So Heineke would just be a two QB or super flex pickup and if herbert did get sideline with

1:28.7

this we would have to bump down lad mcconkey and quentin johnston who will talk about when we

1:33.8

get to the waver wire pickup section later those guys have had decent first couple weeks here i'm not so

1:39.8

sure that you could trust them in your lineup if they went to heineke all right next on the list jaden

1:44.7

daniels on the commanders took a big shot in this game only missed i think one play maybe two plays

1:50.4

and ended up having a pretty good game despite the fact that the commanders could not get into the

1:54.8

end zone they kept getting into scoring position they couldn't get it into the end zone and i say that

1:59.6

as somebody who has a lot of daniels on my teams's here. I'm sure you can hear my frustration, but not really concerned about Daniels having any issues from that injury that caused him to leave the game for a player too. But it's another reminder that if he keeps taking these big hits, the odds of him getting hurt go up. I will say, though, it is nice to see him having fun out there.

2:19.4

Like, it seems like he's enjoying himself. We can't say that for all the rookie quarterbacks. You know, Daniels makes a big run. Even when he does get hit, he jumps back up. He pats the defender. He's smiling. Man, it makes me think of Caleb Williams. and Caleb Williams, you know, who did have a better week too, but that bears offense is struggling.

2:37.6

They're really unbearable. it makes me think of Caleb Williams and Caleb Williams you know who did have a better week

2:34.8

two but that bears offense is struggling they're really unable to find a rhythm so far it didn't help

2:41.1

having Keenan Allen and Roma Dunes a not being 100% healthy but having keen and out on the

2:45.4

sidelines for this game and the false start penalties and the offensive line that's a problem but

2:50.5

overall Williams just doesn't seem happy. He doesn't seem comfortable in this offense. And he admitted to being a little bruised up after Sunday nights lost to the Texans. That's why I'm mentioning him here. Nothing that's going to keep him out, I don't think. But it's just something to note that on top of him, just not really being content at the moment in Chicago with the way things are going. Jacoby Bristad and the Patriots. He also got a little dinged up at one point this week. He stayed in the game. I saw one Patriots beat writer Mark Daniels. He asked Gerard Mayo today if Brissette was healthy. Mayo said, we're going to find out that, you know, they'll have their staff meeting. They're going to have the medical check happening today. So could this be a window where Drake may could get out there if Bressett's not 100% healthy? I still think that is going to happen fairly soon, whether Bressett's healthy or not here. But the upcoming matchups, the Jets this week, the 49ers the week after, not so sure that's the right time to unleash your rookie out there, but we will see. We also had the Tua Tagoviloa injury back on Thursday. I shared my thoughts about that on the Friday show, though. I would be surprised if we see Tua again this year. So Skyler Thompson slated to start right now, that's a downgrade for Tyree Kill. I'm just repeating things I said on Friday show, but makes Tyree Kill a fringe wide receiver 1, high-end wide receiver 2 rest of season, moves Jalen Waddle down to the low-end wide receiver 2, high-end-wide receiver 3 range, just brings the potential of this dolphin's attack, just brings it down as a whole. But let's hope the Tua can get

4:15.1

some good news from doctors, can make the right decision for his long-term future. I'm sure we're

4:19.3

going to get plenty of updates throughout the week on this. So we'll continue to update it as we go here.

4:24.5

Now, at running back, and this is where it gets really rough. So Isaiah Pacheco, he suffered what was
