Welcome, everyone to the score fantasy football podcast. I'm your host, Justin Boone,

0:18.5

the lead fantasy analyst at The Score. Not that many shows left this year. We've got three weeks left in the fantasy season, and that's if you make it to the championship week, which we're going to do our best to help you get to it. Don't worry. But unfortunately, we did have another wave of injuries on Sunday. A bunch of big name receivers. We had five or six quarterbacks also get banged up. So we're going to go over those and then we're going to run through the top waiver wire pickups for week 15. But we got to get through the injuries first. So let's start with the quarterbacks who got hurt. And we had three QBs that got placed in the concussion protocol. So Kenny Pickett on the Steelers, Russell Wilson on the Broncos, and Tyler Huntley on the Ravens.

0:54.4

And normally this season, we've seen players sit out one game after being placed in the

0:59.0

concussion protocol.

0:59.9

I know John Harbaugh, he said that Huntley seemed okay after the game.

1:03.3

He made a couple jokes after that he was good to go.

1:06.6

But symptoms, they can get worse the next day.

1:08.8

Sometimes it is no guarantee that the player is going to be

1:11.5

able to proceed through the concussion protocol quickly sometimes they do sometimes they have to sit

1:16.1

out but generally this year the league is leaned towards being more cautious with concussions

1:20.1

especially after the two a tagovaloa incident earlier this season so i feel like all three of these

1:25.7

guys have an uphill battle in order to get cleared for

1:28.0

week 15. And they aren't really quality fantasy options anyway. I mean, outside a 2 QB or Super

1:34.0

Flex league. But if they can't go, each of those offenses is going to take a little bit of a hit.

1:39.8

The Steelers, they would roll with Mitch Trubisky. And we've seen what that looks like already.

1:44.2

It is not great. But it's not like Kenny Pickett was set in the world on fire either. The Broncos, they would turn to Brett Rippin. And similar situation there, it's a downgrade, but Denver's offense, they haven't really had a strong stretch this season, really all season. It's been pretty embarrassing for them. And then Baltimore,

2:01.4

they would get the biggest downgrade since it seems unlikely that Lamar Jackson's going to play

2:05.6

in week 15. So if Huntley's also out, then they're going to have to go to the third stringer,

2:09.9

Anthony Brown. He would get the call. And you probably weren't relying on anybody in that

2:13.9

Baltimore offense outside of Mark Andrews anyway. But this would definitely hurt Andrews. Seems like he's playing through some injuries of his own. Hasn't really been the same player since the first six weeks of the season or so. So you're probably going to see him a little lower in the rankings than usual if we don't get one of the top two quarterbacks for the Ravens this week. But we're to continue to monitor all three of those QBs.

2:34.6

We'll see if anybody gets cleared from a concussion protocol.

2:37.5

We also have to monitor some of these backups who have become pretty standout starters
