Monday shows. And now we're in the final stretch here. Four weeks left in the fantasy season.

You got fantasy playoffs this week in some leagues, next week in most leagues. It is the most

important time to stay up to date on all this injury news and to make some big waiver wire

pickups that could potentially

help take you to a championship because I get it. The fantasy season is long. You start off all

excited in the first month and then there's a bit of a lull like mid-October into November, but

we are in it now. You are either positioning yourself for the fantasy postseason or you're

scrapping to try to get one of those final playoff spots. So let's get into it here. We'll talk about the top waiver wire ads in the second half of the show. But we're going to begin like we always do on Monday with the injury roundup. And this was one of those weeks where we had a lot of fantasy starters leave due to injury to the point where I'm not even sure where we should

start today, but let's kick off with the quarterback.

So Jimmy Garoppolo got tackled by a defender who kind of landed awkwardly on his foot,

on his ankle.

And Jimmy G.

Apparently broke a few things in that foot, according to Kyle Shanahan, which means he is

done for the year, the second 49ers quarterback to be done for the season.

Obviously, Trey Lance was the first back in the opening month.

So you have rookie Brock Purdy stepping in, seventh rounder, Mr. Irrelevant, the last pick

in the draft, but he played pretty well.

He helped San Francisco get the win, completed 68% of his passes, 210 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick.

Enough to keep the train on the tracks. I mean, it's definitely going to be a problem for the 49ers
