Lots happening as always. Frank Wright got fired by the Colts this morning. I mean no real

surprises there. Indie's been floundering for a while. But hiring their former center Jeff

Saturday as the interim head coach, yeah, that was a little bit of a shock. But let's face it,

they need to tank. They need to try and get a real quarterback. Their attempts to get one of these cheap veterans who can try to get them over the top, it just hasn't worked. Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, none of them made the Colts real contenders. And now this year, they're dealing with all these injuries. Jonathan Taylor, the engine of their offense. He's got got a high ankle sprain that's been sapping his effect on this that's

kept him out of the lineup so not even sure if he's gonna be back soon and if he

comes back will he be the Jonathan Taylor that we're used to because we've seen

other running backs have their seasons essentially ruined by high ankle sprain

so that's a concern for him.

Maybe they even shut him down this year. I mean, if they really want to commit to the tank,

you would shut Jonathan Taylor down, you play your backups and you go about it that way.

When they made the move to Sam Ellinger at quarterback, maybe that was the start of them tanking.

It was definitely a desperation play. They knew Matt Ryan wasn't getting it done. And I think that they hoped that Ellinger could give them some sort of life, could just kickstart that offense a little bit. So far it hasn't been great. And it's making it really tough to trust anybody in that Colts offense, unfortunately. And Fire and Frank Reich, that's likely not going to help the situation. So I'd be aware of using any Colts in your lineup. Even Michael Pittman, he becomes more of a risky wide receiver three kind of option the rest of the way. And then we'll see what happens in the backfield. Taylor, Dion Jackson, he got hurt two this week. So just an awful situation all around. And one that I think you mostly want to stay away from in fantasy if you can.

And I didn't plan on starting the show off today with a quick state of the franchise on the Colts,

but that news came down before we started recording.
