Welcome into the lounge. I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing and Ravens OTAs begin today. Monday morning.

It's the start of OTAs under head coach Jesse Minner and his staff.

Exciting time here, Garrett. So we're going to break down the top storylines as the Ravens hit the field. And Garrett, how pumped are you for OTAs?

Look, it's exciting. This is a chance to see. It's still voluntary. So just to kind of set the

stage of what this is. These are voluntary practices. But the Ravens have had really strong

attendance throughout the voluntary portion of

the offseason program. And once you get on the field for OTAs, it levels up a little bit based

on what we've seen up to this point. The Ravens have gone through football school. They've

gone through the conditioning program. They did have a voluntary veteran mini camp, which is

something you can do with the new coaching staff.

So they had that earlier this offseason.

But during this portion, they actually get to go through more football work.

You get to have some matchups of the offense versus the defense.

And it just looks more like an actual football practice.

And so it's a good chance to see, take stock of where the team is at this stage, see how the operation is running, see who can look, who's starting to look good and stands out amongst the group.

And it's also a chance for this front office to get a gauge of, okay, do you need to make any adjustments here?

Do you need to add somebody before training camp?

Like those are where some of those decisions

are made based on what we see over the course of these next few weeks. Yeah, and obviously,

attendance is always the first thing that reporters do when they go out to practice. I expect it's

going to be pretty darn good. I don't know that it's going to be perfect attendance.
