Week one in the NFL, you still have a game tonight.

You get to see Caleb Williams against J.J. McCarthy,

but it was great to have a full slate of games.

We probably should start with Friday because Friday night, most people expected Kansas

City to win.

But Justin Herbert actually outplayed Patrick Mahomes.

Herbert had three touchdown passes, threw for 318 yards, had a big run at the end of

the game.

Huge run to seal it.

He's not known for running, but he had seven carries for 32 yards, including that big,

long gain at the end to seal the game.

And you know what?

I'll give Greg Roman and Harbaugh credit.

They let Herbert sling it instead of just being stubborn and kind of sticking to what they usually do,

which is trying to just run the life out of the ball entirely throughout the game.

Herbert goes for 318, and they opened up the offense a little bit, and it paid dividends.

We did a true false last week.

I threw it out to you guys, and I said true or false, the Kansas City Chiefs will not win the AFC West.

And nobody bought that.
