| 0:00.0 | Don't forget at 645. |
| 0:01.0 | We'll give you a chance to win a pair of tickets to go see the Caps who are red hot, take on the Carolina Hurricanes. That should be a fun affair at Capital One Arena. We'll give those tickets away at 645. Not to get off on a caps tangent. I don't mean to at all. But I remember it was just two, three weeks ago or so we were kind of questioning where they were and they're just ball and sense. Yeah, just grinding one in seven of eight. |
| 0:24.6 | Yeah. just two, three weeks ago or so, we were kind of questioning where they were, |
| 0:20.9 | and they're just ball and sense. |
| 0:22.7 | Yeah, just grinding one and seven of eight. Yeah. I believe three or four straight. I'm not sure the exact number. Way up on the standings. Yeah, they're killing it. Up to third in the division. Very good. Remember they were in the basement in the division there for a few days? Yeah. Well, when you win seven out of eight. |
| 0:36.2 | Yeah, you're going to jump up quick. |
| 0:37.3 | You're going to move up. |
| 0:37.8 | Tom Wilson's having a great year. |
| 0:39.3 | He is. |
| 0:40.1 | I mean, having a great year. just like two or three years ago, yeah. Well, when you win seven out of eight. Yeah, you're going to jump up quick. You're going to move up. |
| 0:37.8 | Tom Wilson's having a great year. |
| 0:39.3 | He is. He is. He's having a great year. Also coming up later on the show at 8 o'clock, we're going to go through the playoff team pros and cons for both the AFC and NFC and NFC teams in the NFL. I don't know what you mean by that. |
| 0:54.0 | We're going to go through each of the teams that are in the mix for the playoffs and give a quick pros and cons for each one. Just Google it. I sent... When you say pros and cons for each one, you mean why they will make it and why they won't make it? Basically, yeah. Okay. I sent Valdez a text, though, and I was thinking more Super Bowl. |
| 1:11.8 | Like, teams, do you think they can win the Super Bowl? You know what I mean? Like, the Patriots would be an example. They've won 10 in a row. They have the best record. But some people would argue they don't have the experience. So we'll kind of kick it around. Yeah, you've got a second year quarterback. |
| 1:25.8 | You don't have a superstar at receiver. |
| 1:29.1 | But if you're good, you're good. |
| 1:31.4 | Yeah. And this year's wide open. I think the reason why I sent him a text is, like, people were hyping up the Rams. And I'm not saying the Rams can't win the Super Bowl this year, but people were hyping them up. And then last, you know, their last game, they lose. And it seems like that happens every week where there's a team where everybody's talking about. And then they lose. And then the two teams right now that are the one seeds, not everybody's buying into them because they don't have experience. They've got second year quarterbacks. Caleb Williams, completion percentage isn't great. So people aren't really buying the bears, but they have the best record. Or they're the one seed in the NFC. And then the AFC, I think more people are buying into the Patriots, but still, that's a team that won four games last year. So people are a little surprised by them. So kind of wanted to kick it around. Well, the Pats have to play Buffalo, who they already beat in Buffalo this year, but they play Buffalo next week at home. If they win that game, they pretty much wrap up the division, and then they play at Baltimore. So they got two toughies in the next two weeks. They also have a buy heading into it, which is nice. They get some rest. Oh, I'm sorry, they got the buy first. Yeah. So Buffalo, Baltimore on the road, and then they've got the Jets in Miami. |
| 2:38.1 | Right. heading into it, which is nice to get some rest. Oh, I'm sorry, they got the buy first. Yeah. So Buffalo, Baltimore on the road, and then they've got the Jets in Miami. So, you know, two cupcakes to close the year. But we'll see over the next couple weeks how they match up against some of the better teams. Yep. All right. Let's get into some audio of a team that sadly will not be contending for the playoffs that is the Washington commanders. This is Dan Quinn talking about potentially calling plays in |
| 2:56.9 | 26 on the defensive side like he's doing right now. Dan, this is more of a future question, |
| 3:04.7 | but I'll just ask it now. You obviously chose to have Joe Whit be your |
| 3:08.6 | defensive coordinator because you part of your thinking was you wanted to delegate a bit more. |
| 3:13.5 | Now that you've done this a couple of games, is there a world where you could be the play caller |
