So we talked a lot about the Bill Belichick's getting snubbed for the first year and the first ballot.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame.

We talked a lot about that yesterday, right?

Well, the Hall of Fame put out a statement yesterday because of all of the controversy, especially on social.

Pro Football Hall of Fame understands and respect, this is the statement, respects the passionate

reaction of many fans, media members, and enshrinees of the hall itself in light of published

reports regarding the voting results in the class of 26.

Each year, the hall reviews the selection process and the composition of the 50-person selection committee.

If it is determined that any members violated the selection process bylaws, they understand action will be taken. That could include

the possibility that such selectors would not remain a member of the committee moving forward.

So I don't know what the bylaws are, but they did put out a statement saying that they're going to

look it over. Maybe they're not allowed to collude. Maybe not. In terms of about their votes, kind of whipped votes. Do you want to hear, you want to hear Paul in made a statement? Yeah, let's hear. I voted for Coach Belichick in the Hall of Fame selection meeting.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has confirmed that fact through the auditors of the selection process.

Again, I'll state that I never said that I believe that Coach Belichick should, quote, wait a year, close quote, for enshrinement.

This has been confirmed by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, numerous selectors who are in the room, and my vote for Coach Belichick.

As a Hall of Fame member and selector, I realize the import of what we do.

I've always tried as a selector to make these difficult choices with the utmost of it

objectivity.

I've said on Sirius XM radio and numerous other media outlets that I believe Coach Belichick to be a first ballot Hall of Famer, my vote confirms that. Hopefully it's the last statement I ever hear from Bill Polian. I mean, I always got put right back to sleep. Well, you know, the damage is done. Everyone's just going to think that he's the one that did it. Right. Right. No matter how, no matter how loud he is about it. I think he's exonerated as far as I'm concerned. I think with smart, yeah, with smart people. Yeah. But whenever the damage is already done. Your name was already linked to whipping votes. Maybe so. Maybe some people will know that. Maybe he said something one day and said a different thing
