So, Bruno, I thought I would do something that every other podcaster in Radio Show does is you got to have like a Halloween special podcast episode. What do you say? Let's do it.

0:10.1

This is the psychology in Seattle podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Kirk Honda. I'm a therapist and a professor, and I am not someone that typically makes episodes for holidays, except for this time. Who are you, Bruno?

0:20.6

My name is Umberto Casignan, and I designed spooky decorations for your window. Although 13 years ago, we did make an episode about Halloween costumes. We filmed it. Oh, yeah, overlooking the space. Oh, I remember this. Yeah, we were on, we were on Queen Anne. Anyway, so top five Halloween scary movies, burdo, start with your number five. Okay. So these are movies, not TV shows. So or TV shows? Well, I had, I had two separate lists.

0:50.7

Oh, I didn't interleave them. So I'll start with the movies. Number five, scream. Okay. Scream. It's not like the greatest movie ever. Yeah, but it's really entertaining. And it's it like it plays with the genre. Yeah, and it did some very creative things. Yeah, I think I saw it in the theater and liked it, but didn't know it was going to be the phenomenon that it became right. Yeah.

1:18.1

And number four, house of a thousand corpses. This is a Rob Zombie movie. Yeah, I realize it's not for everyone, but it is very gory and creepy. And I love it. Yeah.

1:29.7

And plus he creates these very entertaining characters. I think he's making a new monsters or is he movie. Yeah.

1:36.8

Okay. Number three, by the way, his Halloween wasn't bad. It was entertaining. Okay. Okay. Number three, Vitch, the witch with these. Yeah, that's a good one.

1:49.5

This was so, it slipped by me. Yeah, came out. I never saw it. And then after, I guess it was after midsummer. No, no, before it was before it was first. No, no, I know, but I mean, after I saw midsummer, someone said, oh, you, you must have loved

2:06.9

which I'm like, I've never seen it. Yeah. So I had to go back and watch it. Oh, I just loved it. Yeah, for those, so just getting off to this start, I don't watch horror movies. Bruto does. So classics, I've seen, you know, Halloween wanted to

2:21.4

nightmare in Elm Street to that kind of stuff. But like, I would guess 98% of horror movies, even the popular ones I have not seen. Right. It's just not my genre, even the, even the good ones. I'm like, yeah, like, what was it?

2:36.4

Let the right one in. Was that the, yeah, the Scandinavian one. Vampire one, yeah. Yeah. And everyone is, oh, well, it's not, it's like it's subvert. That was one of the very first. It subverts the horror. It's, it's not just horror. It like,

2:49.0

it's artsy horror and I got like half of the way through. I was like, this is a more stupid horror. And it's fine. You know what I mean? And whenever I hear someone say, like, I don't understand sci-fi like it's stupid. Like, or I don't understand fantasy. Like some people to say, I don't, or I don't like Marvel movies. And I'm always like, how do you not like Marvel movie?

3:08.6

You know, they're, I could see how you, how you're not,

3:12.1

they're not your favorite, like,

3:13.8

but I don't understand how you,

3:14.9

how you can't even watch them.

3:16.5

You're like that with horror.

3:17.3

But I'm like that with horror.

3:18.3

Like I can't, I, I'll get halfway through.

3:21.8

I'll be, this is, this is stupid.

3:23.8

Like this horror play, it's like a genre of music.

3:29.6

It follows a formula and people like want that, right?
