Before we get to the five prospects on the verge, let's take a look at five other names that are making noise lately.

And that group includes A.J j hewing of the metz

kela bonimer with the white socks tyler bremner with the angels and then two red sox prospects

franklin arias and anthony iinson scott what do we have on this group an exciting group let's start

with a j ewing of the Mets

because I predict he's the one we're going to see soonest of this group,

partly because he just moved up to AAA.

This was after a performance at AA where he hit 349

and reached a base at a 481 clip and also stole 12 bases.

And I'm not sure any of these things are out of character for AJ Ewing.

He is such a good hitter for average that he is the rare non-home run hitter

who is universally recognized as a top top prospect he excels it going the

other way good at getting on base got to steal a ton of bases and like he hits the ball well enough that

he could develop power but it just it like it seems like he's going to be available I mean he seems

like he's going to be valuable even without power um and first game at AAA, three for four,

a walk, a double, a triple,

continued to do his thing.

Mets don't have an opening in their outfield now,

but we know these things can change quickly.

So AJ Ewing very much on the periphery.
