Let's start off with the five prospects on the periphery.

These are names that are doing something notable as of late. And we have

Edwin Arroyo of the Reds, Cooper Ingle of the Guardians, Devin Fitzgerald of the Nationals, Eric

Hartman. That's a real person. Eric Hartman, not the South Park character. You should have said it

fast, Eric Cartman.

This gentleman plays for the Atlanta Braves, well, in the Braves organization, and

Carson Milbrand of the Marlins.

What do we have on this group?

So yeah, let's start with Edwin Arroyo, who was thought to be not much of a power hitter previously in the minors.

See, Homer, just three times last year.

Well, now he's already up to eight.

So a big step forward in terms of power for Edwin Arroyo at AAA.

He's slashing 348-408- 590, has five stolen bases for good measure. It's primarily

played shortstop there, but he's dabbled at second and third base. And as luck would

have it, the reds are pretty weak at both of those spots. Matt McLean not getting it done

at second, Brian Hayes not getting it done

in third. So if Edwin Arroyo continues to produce the AAA, it may not be long before we see
