So this week I had the opportunity to talk to Anna Humphrey.

Now, Anna is a very, very special person.

She is from Alexandria, Virginia,

and she used mathematical modeling

to identify the most probable locations of exoplanets, many that were missed or could have been missed by the Kepler Space Telescope.

She did this as a high school student.

And this actually won her first prize

in an incredibly prestigious science competition that's sponsored by Regeneron.
