My name is Eduardo Isenti and these are Puerto Rico's top news for today.

Today's summer is pretty short, so let's get to it.

So we start off with Jennifer Gonzales, who is talking about

making Puerto Rico a hub for natural gas, for liquid natural gas.

So she went on a conference with this senator from Jacksonville and pretty much said,

yeah we can make Puerto Rico a hub for natural gas distribution to the Caribbean and Latin America.

This honestly makes no sense when you start analyzing it. why would you ship natural gas from Puerto Rico,

from Florida, from Jacksonville to Puerto Rico

in US ships, which are really expensive to transport anything?

And then start in Puerto Rico

and then ship it from Puerto Rico to the Dominican Republic

or Latin America, when you can simply ship from Florida,

from Jacksonville to the Dominican Republic

or to Latin America in non-U.S. ships

because there's no capital laws of governing that shipping

and make it a lot cheaper in the whole shipping process,

not have to store it in a second party for no reason at all.

And I mean, Verda is really close by.

Jacksonville is really close by it.

Not like Puerto Rico is actually in a very privileged location to just be a hub in this case This this makes no sense what it what actually does make sense is for the Jacksonville Center to be pushing this because if Puerto Rico
