So we start off with a news that came out in El Bocero.

It turns out Puerto Rico has a really big problem of firearms. Just about 30% of all firearms in Puerto

Rico are legal. So 70% of all firearms in the island are illegal. And police forces and

people looking at this problem believe that most of the illegal guns come from Orlando, that

the diaspora, the people who have moved from Puerto Rico to Orlando have opened up new

trade routes for guns since it's so easy to buy them there and then just send them in

pieces or transport them to Puerto Rico to be sold in the illegal market. Guns in the street can cost anywhere from 800 to $5,000. And so it's a very lucrative

market. It's a market where you can even rent guns for just a couple of days or for one

specific crime and then return them. So it's a pretty sophisticated and profitable market

in the underground. We move on to some pretty good news. And it's that the Department of Education is

giving 2,500 teachers permanency, I guess, in the department. So they're giving them an official

non-transitory role in the Department of Education. They're gonna be how this used to work was that

These transitory teachers would be fired at the end of a school year and then they would be rehired during the summer

And this happens every single year. It's
