Here are today's headlines.

Today, thousands of pro-life advocates were in Washington, D.C. for the 50th annual

March for Life.

This was the first national March for Life since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

I was at the March earlier today and I have a chance to talk with pro-life advocate and

president of Concerned Women for America Penny Nance.

I asked Nance why she and so many in the pro-life movement felt it was important to keep marching,

even though Roe v. Wade has already been overturned.

This is what she told me.

It's an off chance for Ziggett to get there and celebrate.

This is a joyful gathering and also for us to get together and talk about what's next.

Nance also told me that while about half of the states across America have laws on the books

to protect life, that means there are still many states that have a long way to go

in passing laws to protect the unborn.

She said that she and the whole of the pro-life community is committed to continuing their fight

for life in the years ahead.

Marchers walked from the National Mall to the Capitol this year, which is a change from

previous years. The March used to end at the Supreme Court, but now the pro-life community

is calling on lawmakers in Congress to take action and protect life.

Before the March began, notable speakers delivered remarks to the crowd.
