Oh hey, alright so this week we are going to be talking. We're gonna take a step back in time.

You know it's always hard for me to admit that we're going back in time to look at an old movie because this movie came out after I was born.

But I guess the 80s is now considered old.

So we're gonna be looking at an older movie.

Top Gun 1986 directed by Tony Scott starring Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards,

Tom Scarrett, Michael Ironside, Meg Ryan, and Tim Robbins is even in this film for a little bit.

As well as Adrian Pastar and many others.

So this was obviously a huge kind of commercial hit.

It was at the peak of kind of launching Tom Cruise into the stratosphere with superstardom.

So there's lots and lots and lots to talk about.

There's also some interesting political stuff that we can get into that I know for a fact that Raymond is gonna want to bring up.

So we'll definitely be able to get into that as well.

But first let's go around and do first impressions.
