talk about that we're going to have to broach obviously the philly's uh... outfield

whether the corner outfielders have done brown and dire rough is a legit thing

that we can really expect a world series out of all of these things whether there's

going to be hockey back

where the hell is and for buying them and why isn't he playing basketball all

these topics are legitimate topics but tonight i wanted to look back on twenty

twelve and some of the good moments even though there weren't a ton of them

uh... both for me personally because even being here doing this right now

is a big deal for me and in sports in Philadelphia so

let me uh... i take you back i sat about a year ago uh... the end of

December um... about to start here at cbs and w-i-p and not really having any

idea at all whether i'd be good at it or at all or not

so about eighteen months ago in let's say july of twenty eleven

i was working for w-i-s-p which was the radio station right at this

frequency and it was a rock station that i worked at

for years and years and years and i was born to tears working at this rock

station but i was pretty good at the job and it was a good job and it was sort of

fun and it paid well so i kept doing it but on the side while i was doing this

rock station job just to keep myself busy because i thought it was be fun

i started a blog about the sixers and i started right about the sixers because i

really really like basketball and i started to do podcasts

um... you know about the eagles and the sixers and i just thought to myself while
