show is kevin all right a little fun i guess for you on this saturday podcast before washington's

meaningless season finale tomorrow against the giantsants in the Meadowlands.

I was thinking last night about how strange the season's been and how many moments there were during this season,

weird moments, wow moments, stand up in your seat moments.

Now, maybe all 32 NFL teams have just as many as Washington did this year. But there were some plays that were

very memorable from this season. So I started to jot them down and I came up with my top

eight wow moments from the just about to finish Washington 2021, 2022 season.

We start with number eight.

Number eight came in the season opener, a game which was really dominated by the

Chargers at FedEx Field, but Washington had a lead and after turnover had the ball with the lead in the fourth

quarter. But then this happened.

Just a sensational play by William Jackson. Washington has it deep on their own side.

Football can lose. Is this a live ball? No signal yet. Who's got it? Chargers do. Incredible.

It was the first of Antonio Gibson's five fumbles on the year. Three of them lost, and it was a backbreaker.

The Chargers took over at Washington's three, scored three plays later, took the lead 20 to 16,

and that was the final score in the opener.

Again, it was odd the way the game played out with the Chargers converting on 14 of 19 third downs,

actually 14 of 18 if you don't count the final kneel down.

Ending that game, if you recall, on a 15-play 72-yard drive that took nearly seven minutes

where they converted four third downs with the 20 to 16 lead. But despite being dominated, Washington had the ball in the fourth quarter with the lead

until Gibson's fumble.
