Hey, FilmSpotters, Adam and Josh here. It's Wednesday. It's archive drop time. And we're looking ahead to our Friday show when we're going to be revisiting our favorite film of 2011. Yes, I say our favorite film because we both separately on our list had it as the number

one film of that year. Terence Malick's not so inscrutable. Maybe not to you, Josh, because you've

seen it 27 times in the past few years. I can't wait to hear your revelations about the tree of

life. But we're going to share with you our top five

Terence Malick scenes. And this is a top five list that we did. Wow, I'm trying to get

a handle on when we did this one. My version history tells me that I put this top five

list together back in March of 2016, a full 10 years since we did this list.

You're putting a lot of pressure on me to bring to this conversation we're going to do shortly here, Adam.

But yeah, to justify to give reason for why we are actually doing this re-review, I believe we both glanced at our lists.

We both have two scenes from the Tree of Life among our top five Malick scenes from, you know, one of the directors who's probably considered one of the more iconic visual stylist, image givers,

directorial image givers we've had.

So that really says something about the level of filmmaking going on in the tree of life,
