But guess what? We already did that. We did that on the main show on Sunday night. So how about I give you my one through five and you critique? Well, I was going to say, aren't you normally on the Monday FFT and five, aren't I filling in for Chris Towers? Shouldn't I be asking you questions? Aren't you always here? You could be Chris. Go ahead. Adam, who are your top five quarterbacks for 2023? Would you like five through one or one through five? Definitely start with five. Okay, five is going to be

Justin Fields, who was averaging about a hundred rushing yards per game at his best in the last nine

games of the season when he was,

I think a top three or four quarterback. I do like him better than Lamar Jackson, who is not

going to make my cut. I don't really know why. I just think that I've seen Lamar Jackson be

good, but not amazing for three straight years. I'd like to see a little bit more. So I think we

can get that from Justin Fields. Yeah, I thought it was really interesting when the host of fantasy football today, not fantasy football today in five, made the point of it's really hard to make the case for Justin Fields over Lamar Jackson. And you did a really poor job there. Like we're talking about the three years that Lamar Jackson has been just okay, not great. I believe each of those three years, he averaged more fantasy points per game than Justin Fields did last year. He did, but he didn't average more fantasy points per game than Justin Fields did in the second half of the season, so I'd like to see Fields continue. I do wonder who averaged more points, Lamar Jackson in the first half of last year or Justin Fields in the second half. Probably Justin Fields in all seriousness. But it's probably close because Jackson had two games where he was over 40 points. But here's the other thing about Jackson. I don't know what the new system is going to do for Lamar Jackson. This guy is someone who had a system tailor made for him by Greg Roman. and now it's a brand new system where they're going to ask him to be more of a passer. And I'm not so sure that's going to work immediately. There could be a growing period and some growing pains for Lamar Jackson. So that's why he's six and Fields is five. And Heath Joe Burrow is four for me. Unlike Justin Fields, who has everything set up and we know exactly how things are going to go for him.

No growing pains for Justin Fields.

Definitely no growing pains for Joe Burrow, who is number four ahead of both of the quarterbacks who have more upside than him.

Are you factoring in two quarterback leagues?

Do people draft seven quarterbacks in leagues that you draft so you can't stream? Why is Joe Burrow ahead of these two riding quarterbacks? Well, if you look at what Joe Burrow did with Jamar, Chase, and T. Higgins, both of them missed time. You know, Higgins didn't miss that many games, but he had three games where he barely played. And Chase missed, I think, five games. But when those two guys were both on the field,

he was a close fourth in points per game behind those top three.

He was not really a tier behind the big three.
