How are you? Good to see you? Good to see you. I got my vaccination the other day. We did. I do want to tell people about that. I got a Tuesday. Yep. Got it done. Go. I was miserable. I was I hit me hard. Right Tuesday night. I was as sick as a dog shivering fever chills to the point.

Really got muscle and eight pains and aches that I've never had so bad in my life. How long did it last? I went to work yesterday morning. I was miserable coming to work yesterday morning. I did that. I went home. I had to do another radio thing. Whatever did all that. Took a nap and ended up falling asleep for four hours. Nice. And I woke up and I went, okay, I feel pretty good. You know, not a hundred percent. I woke up this morning. I was like, all right. I'm close to a hundred percent. Maybe a little groggy still, but yeah.

I think, you know, out of the woods here. So that's good. Wow. I know. It happened to be a little bit on my second one. Right. That's a few hours. Yeah. Oh, man. Here it comes. Right. Wasn't as severe as what you had. Wasn't as long either. No, I decided to do the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. So it's just a one shot too. Right. So I'm done. But, you know, maybe I don't know if there's more of it in that one dose or whatever. But it killed me. I'm glad I'm done with it though. Yeah. And now I can, you know, freely wear a mask here and live free again. That'd be cool. It does feel nice.

And it comes in a very good time for you because this is it. This is literally like the day before summer vacation for you. A little hiatus from the pod. Right. I mean, from hanging out with Mike. It's not the day before the summer vacation. It's the day. This is our day. But when we get out of here, I mean, I'm going to go home and I don't know what I'll do for a few hours. But nap again. Well, I might take a nap again. But after that, oh, Matt Casey, producer, right. He's having a little shamedig tonight.

And I mean, I'm, I'm going to have fun. So the party starts tonight as far as I'm concerned. That could be the real pod. That we will. We have a real good pod tonight. I was thinking about your moment here today. Right. And I always love comparison. So go back to being a kid last day of school with your summer. Yeah. Go back to Texas. Last day of spring balls, right.

The game is always kind of a similar awesome feeling and kind of what what you're feeling right now today. It's best. It's close. But it nothing beats that young kid schools over. Yeah, I mean, I mean, that's just like coming. Come on. School was torture when you're a young kid. You couldn't wait for the summer.

Spring football. That's the other look. I mean, it was an awesome day. It was an awesome day because it was brutal. You knew like, Oh, wow. Now we're going to have like a month where I can kind of be a normal college student. Yeah.

And not have to worry about grinding out football every day. But I'll say I think this actually this trumps that. Oh, wow. I will. Yeah. You know, it's a long year. It was a long year this year, especially with COVID. I don't know what it is. It just warm me out. But like in my business again, I'm not complaining about our job. It's awesome. I love it. It's football. I talk. I mean, it's great. But I think the thing that wears out me and you've heard me say this is just constantly having to stay on all the news. Have an answer for everything. Oh, wait.

This player's doing this. This player's doing that. Wait, let me turn on a little film just to get a good feel for it. So I'm not speaking blindly about the guy. It's just having to be on top of everything that wears your ass out. Yeah.

So now I can check out for a little while. And that's what I'm excited for. Part of what might wear you out. We're going to take advantage of here today. Yeah, we are strictly going to react. You're going to react.

Yes. Many, many questions that we get socially about your town 40 years. Sure. Yeah. And I got to tell you, Chris, just from being like hanging out close to you, my Twitter inbox, like my notifications are on 20 plus every five minutes, because the last 24 hours.

Yeah. People have so many things they want to say to you. Maybe about you. Well, you don't know if it's a bad thing for you and your Twitter. But I think it's a good thing for our podcast.

Well, hopefully. And again, you know, listen, I know what I don't understand. I understand that everybody agreeing with my, like, rankings and that. I don't expect everybody to agree with it.

But what I don't understand is just the hatred behind it, so I want to be like, well, you're showing more hatred because this quarterback was eight and this quarterback was 10, then you're showing about, like, world issues. Like we're losing a rainforest. You don't care.

Like, oh, that's where I just go. That makes no sense. And you're demented in the head. Yeah. That's really where that, that's where I don't get it. I love the feedback. I love the questions. I don't think I'm totally right. But I, like I've always said, I've been around it. I work hard at it.

And, uh, hey, the thing that always gives me confidence to fight through these things is I have a lot of people in the NFL who reach out to me and say they love the letters a lot.

Give me respect for what I say or do. And that kind of pushes me through the haters on the social media aspect or front there.

It's a nice thing about being an adult. We get to have perspective. And when there's good and bad, you can focus a little more on the good, especially when the good is coming from people who matter a lot.

Yeah. No, it does. It makes you makes you, you know, fight through those, those annoying annoying Twitter mentions.

Hopefully, hopefully the, the Twitter things that we get to here won't be too annoying. Yeah. I think they, they are much more on the interesting and intriguing side.
