And today I am so excited to speak to an actress that I just admire.

And in fact, before she comes on, I'm just going to say this because I feel like it would bear us or if she was around.

There are certain people who win as when you're a critic, especially when you're going to a film festival where you're looking through and be like,

what am I going to make time for? There's 200 movies.

Usually this person's name in the credits and you think that's going to be good because I don't think this actress has ever made a bad movie.

And she's always the best part of every movie that she is in.

And so now that I've said all of that, I will bring her in in a second.

Her name is Melanie Linsky. Of course, the one and only.

She came to fame 1994 in the Peter Jackson film, Heavenly Creatures with Kate Winslet.

She has been in basically every great movie I feel like ever since then.

This week she has a movie called Lady of the Manor that is directed by Justin Long,

She plays this stoner character who's such a screw up that is absolutely like surprising and repellent and bizarre.

And it's just fascinating. Basically, it's like a ghost story comedy,

as the southern, bland, barren type of like red face son who's also such a creep.
