Welcome to Country Squire Radio on Bo. And I'm John David. D-D. Hey, Bo. Good evening, man. Man, good evening to you. How are you doing that? You know, I'm doing great. I'm doing great. I'm about to light up my, uh, miriam claw pipe here. I know. You got the whole Gothic claw thing. Yeah, no, it's beautiful. Yeah, it's turning a nice, nice amber color and loaded some or like golden slice tonight. It was between that or Deception Pass from Seattle Pipe Club. And I don't know. I've been kind of hitting the Deception Pass pretty hard lately. So I decided to go back to an old favorite. Now, you say amber, but I mean, it is, it is still pretty bright on the... It is. The thing I love about these claw Meersham pipes, if you're not familiar, a lot of Mearsham pipes traditionally are carved into a claw shape, like a dragon claw or an eagle claw,

and then holding a bowl. And the bowl is kind of a separate piece almost. It's all one

1:07.8

piece of Meersham, but it's a separate, you know, piece. The talons are

1:12.0

are much separated from the actual heat of the bowl. Yeah. And what I like about these pipes is that oftentimes the coloring will be different on the bowl than it will on the actual talon part. And so since I touch the talon, I'm not one of these people that doesn't touch the Miriam. I actually hold the pipe.

1:26.9

Do you rub it

It would be,

1:30.0

yeah,

1:30.2

it would be nasty as sin if I did. But yeah, so when we hold this pipe, the talons kind of turn one color. They're kind of turning more of an amber color. But if you look closely, the bowl of the pipe is turning almost more of a pink color.

1:45.8

It's kind of interesting.

1:47.0

The top is charred, obviously. color. But if you look closely, the bowl of the pipe is turning almost more of a more of a pink

1:45.3

color. It's kind of interesting. The top is charred, obviously. But yeah, if you look closely, it's kind of a pink color, it's really nice. Yeah. Yeah, just something kind of different. I like it. It's a great smoking pipe. Well, it's got a, we got a, we got a good room note going right now with that tobacco as well.

2:01.4

Man, okay, so before we even, like, go through, you know, the whole... it's got a we got a we got a good room note going right now with that tobacco as well man okay so

2:02.2

before we even like go through you know the the whole uh housekeeping items and talking about all

2:06.9
