And I come to you on a day in which I was planning on taping last night until the Jalen Brown trade went down

and I did not know what to do. I didn't know how to talk. I didn't know how to think. I didn't

know what to react to. I didn't know how to bet. My brain has been literally scrambled since the

trade news came down. And I still don't fully understand what Boston was doing. I understand that Jalen Brown talked his way

out of Boston. I understand that Jalen Brown was overpaid. I understand that fans maybe didn't

understand the full issue that Jalen Brown had presented to the Boston Celtics and the opportunity

to extend him.

And if they did not extend him here in Boston in July, that he could have become a major

malcontent and a major problem in that locker room.

I understand all that.

But the Sixers, I mean, when you're trying to get rid of a player, you don't trade him inside

the division.

You don't trade him where you're going to see him consistently.

I just don't understand why Boston did.

And I know that realistically, there was no market for Jalen Brown.

Nobody wanted him.

So Boston had to get rid of him.
