How are you? Happy Saturday. Good morning. Welcome to a new episode of the Daily Juice podcast with me, Matt Perel. You guys can follow me across all of my socials at Sports Talk, Matt, and I am not putting up a recap slide for the podcast. Why? Well, I'm getting crushed. There's no other way around it. It's been a very

bad week. And this has been, you know, we haven't had one of these since I was, since really the

month of March when I had a week this bad. And this is just how it goes. I mean, some weeks were good.

Some weeks were bad.

It's unfortunate because of the way that the juice is in gambling that when you have a red

hot week or a red hot month like we did in the month of May, it doesn't really make up for when

you have one of these weeks when you go 0 in 4, 0 in 3. I'm not even going to add up the number of units.

We are down this week, but it's a good chunk. I mean, we've given a bunch back. We had gotten

ourselves all the way down to around five, being about five units down for the year. And we've

kind of pushed that back well over double digits now here for this after what

happened this week so obviously I need a break right and and oftentimes what I tell people when

you're cold and you need a break from gambling that you have to be able to walk away from the table

and so I'm going to do that for two days I'm going to walk away from the table I'm going to walk away from the table. And so I'm going to do that for two days. I'm going to walk away from the table. I'm going to walk away from the board here, try to write my brain, get away from betting soccer. Like, I mean, this is what kind of happened in the past with me in sports. You know, when a big event like this happens and like everybody wants to bet it and I want to bet it and you guys want to bet it and everyone wants to bet it and then it just doesn't go the way that I want it to just because the information, the trends, the data, the knowledge, all of it just isn't there for me. So, you know, I'm probably just going to sit back on my team USA to make the quarter final bet and take that six to one and just say, okay, we're going to watch this thing and maybe there will be a couple other plays. But, you know, as I always say, like, I talk to a lot of people when I have a lot of friends and I ask them what they're thinking and what they like and I trail them all the time in terms of bets. I mean, they're not doing well in the World Cup either. I mean, the, the betting in the

beginning, if you were following the tie, the draw wager, that was really profitable. And a lot of

people made money betting the draw. But if you weren't betting the draw, a lot of other things came

in pretty wonky. Over should have gone under. Under should have over you know games that should have been you know

one to one or two to one trying to be three nothing it's just it's been a very interesting start to the

world cup so until we get to the knockout rounds i'm not going to touch world cup soccer i might

get into the world cup once again when it comes to betting on on the knockout
