So this week we're talking about opiates or narcotics.

And we're going to kind of combine them all together as a drug class, talk about some of the

counseling points, adverse effects, how they work.

And then we'll go into each agent specifically.

Now I understand that our body has

its own pain-killing system via endogenous opiate receptors. How do these agents interact with those

receptors? So all these agents are agonist at the mu, kappa, or delta opiate receptors. And how they
