This is a three-part special here on the Rico Bronia over this holiday season

in which we are going to go through the greatest home runs in the history of the New York

Mets. Let me explain, as you may recall in 2024, the Mets had quite a few magical home runs.

Francisco Linder, hitting the game-winning home running game 161 that sent the Mets to the playoffs.

Pete Alonzo not only saving his MET legacy, but saving the Mets season by hitting a dramatic

home run off of Devin Williams in the National League Wild Card series.

And of course, Francisco Linder did a grand slam that helped send the Mets to the NLCS.

Those are three home runs that without a shadow of a doubt are going to live in Met history.

So a few months have gone by and we have decided, why don't we take a look at the greatest

home runs in the history of the New York

Met?

So here's what we've done.

I have ranked them one through 20, okay?

Did a little historical research, did interviews, especially from those that witnessed

these home runs, to kind of put this list together in the fairest way possible.

So we will be unveiling a list that I'm sure you'll complain about and maybe write

angry emails about, but we are ranking met home runs all time from number 20 to number one.

We are not including the three home runs I mentioned. And the reason I decided not to

include those three is because I think by putting this ranking together, by listening to some of the
