Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back once again to Homemaker's Sheik podcast. This is the podcast where we are rescuing the art of homemaking from the daily grind with a little bit of class with our red lips, right? We're keeping it. help me pull weeds. It's just I, you know, I backed off of it for a good three weeks because it was

that, you know, winding down. So you think, oh, how bad could it get?

It's bad. It's bad out there, you guys. I remember years ago, Angela and I both particularly getting to a low point in our gardens. And so we were having conversations about it. And we'd

realized that we'd sort of cut ourselves off from inspiration

and conversations, books, shows, things that we used to feed our love of the garden.

So gardener's world, for example, is a BBC show. You can watch it on Amazon Prime. And I love

this show. And when I watch it, it inspires me to

just go out and do the thing. The thing that I'm putting off, the thing that I don't want to do,

when I spend time in my gardening books, particularly Tasha Tudors, I find myself equally

inspired and just motivated. And I think of gardening like any sort of activity that we do,

we have to feed our bodies in order to have the energy that we need to do the task at hand.

And in gardening, sometimes that food that we need to take in, it just looks like inspiration.
