abuser is also a coercive controller. So what is coercive control? A course of control is a form

of psychological abuse whereby the perpetrator carries out a pattern of controlling

and manipulative behaviors within relationship and exerts power over a victim.

A course of control takes away in other person's freedom and ability to have a positive

sense of self-worth.

And this results in the victim feeling more dependent on the abuser,

which then creates an ongoing cycle of controlling abuse. So course of control creates an

invisible chain, which further oppresses the victim and works to limit a person's human rights
