I'm Brian Bergera. I'm Byron Morin. And for today's episode, we're ranking the top 10 screen rides that exist today. Now, what is a screen ride you might be asking yourself? Well, it's a ride that for

better or worse is reliant on screens. This can be a motion simulator,

a shooter, or a blend of dark ride, but mainly screens. And if you're familiar with this show

already, you know that Ryan loves these type of attractions and you can't wait to go through

this list. I will say that I have put my prejudice aside of screen rides to make this list.

And I, for the most part, think that the aggregate list that we've landed on, that these 10 rides are, you know, I think they're fine rides.

A lot of them are very good.

And then some of them are, they're fine rides.

Okay.

So to qualify as a screen ride, the ride has to either be, A, over 50% screens, and Byron has actually clocked the runtime of some of these to make sure.

As in like 50% of the runtime of this ride is predominantly screen, where the screen dominates the scene.

Exactly. Or B, if the ride is no longer functional if all the screens were to be removed, that makes it a screen ride.

So, for example, Forbidden Journey is actually at 49% screens.

So it wouldn't qualify for option A, but if you were to remove all of the screens in Forbidden Journey, you'd spend a lot of time looking at a blank dome wall.

So it therefore qualifies for option B and therefore qualifies as a screen ride and is eligible for

listing.
