Welcome in to another episode of the PFF College Football Show, Max Chadwick, alongside Dalton Wasserman here with my final positional ranking, the top 10

safeties in college football entering the 2025 season. Dalton, we lost some great safety to the NFL

draft like Malachi Stark, who was a first round pick. But dare I say, this is one of the best positions I think in college

ball right now. I agree. This top 10 could, this is another one that could easily be extended to

a top 15 or 20. There's a lot of safety talent in college football right now, starting with the

obvious one at the very top. But there's a whole lot of nice candidates that maybe won't get number

one over our top guy, but man, they're going to be fighting for two and three and all the way down because this is a talented group of players and a very experienced group of

players, too. You talk about the range of ages here. You've got one true sophomore coming up

near the top of the list, but also some fifth and six year guys who have been around college football

for a while. So there's a really good mix of players here and they're all really talented. They're all really talented, but like Donald said that number one guy at the top,

I'm sure all of you know who it will be, he's one of the best players in college football,

not just one of the best safeties in college football.
