Today, very excited to have on for one of his appearances annually on the show, but we always have him on this year at this time to break down one of my favorite articles we run on ESPN all year are tears pieces, going position by position, asking people around the NFL how they rank players at each of the positions and then of course he publishes them and then the world goes crazy for a couple weeks and then he goes

back to being one of our best insiders not making people crazy but joining me to talk about what he

found talking to people around the NFL about some of the best players in the league is my colleague

jeremy fowler jeremy how are you? Hey, I'm doing great, Bill. Thanks so much for having me,

as always. I love having you on for this show because we get the sort of unfettered truth of what

people actually think about some players around the NFL. And you do this every year. It runs over a couple weeks,

one position each day. I believe we're publishing this later this week. I think it'll be

wrapping up right around then as we're sitting here and recording this. Quarterback is out,

edge rusher is out. I'm going to focus maybe on those two spots. It's, of course, two very

prominent positions, the two most expensive positions around the NFL. And so you guys can read

this on ESPN after listening to this. We're going to talk about those two spots. And Jeremy,

let's start a quarterback where maybe not a surprise that Patrick Mahomes is number one. I don't want to

spoil it, but Patrick Mahomes is number one on this list. But did you get a sense that there

was any sort of slipping, any sort of, you know, sense that maybe his position atop the quarterback

leaderboard might not be as sturdy and secure as it was maybe in years past.
