All right, welcome on to a much anticipated moment.

I've been looking forward to this since the very moment we stopped recording a year ago

because we knew that Victor Wembanyama was going to be in this year's top 10 prospects in the

NBA will he in fact be number one or will we have a contrarian take among the three of us, John Hollinger and Danny Larrue, joining me here on this

crossover episode.

The way we're going to do this is each of us is going to nominate basically the highest

remaining player on our list of the top 10 prospects.

But before we get into that, John, any just overarching considerations here as we rank the top prospects in the NBA 23 and under.

I was really trying to look ahead when I did this and I was really trying to look at upside

outcomes to you know can this player be the best player in the league okay if not can

this player be one of the five or ten best players in the league

and that guided a lot of where I ended up although I think I think once you get to the

back end the priorities maybe change a little bit when you get to that 8 9 10 on this list

but that's where my mind was as I drew this up and I think with one player in particular who has

been very good this year I think that pushed him a little lower

just because of like the positional archetype

that he represents.

We'll get into that when we talk about him.
