Summary

The annual tradition continues, a Dunc’d On and Hollinger & Duncan crossover to rank the top-10 prospects in the NBA 23 and under. Is Victor Wembanyama an obvious number 1 even with the Spurs’ struggles? What do we make of Zion Williamson’s up and down season? How high will Scottie Barnes rise? Is Paolo Banchero proving he can be the centerpiece of a winning team? Is being named Tyrese a huge advantage in NBA basketball? What about the rest of the ballyhooed 2023 draft? These and more questions were answered in an over 2-hour discussion!

All right, welcome on to a much anticipated moment.

I've been looking forward to this since the very moment we stopped recording a year ago

0:09.2

because we knew that Victor Wembanyama was going to be in this year's top 10 prospects in the

0:16.2

NBA will he in fact be number one or will we have a contrarian take among the three of us, John Hollinger and Danny Larrue, joining me here on this

this player be one of the five or ten best players in the league

1:03.9

and that guided a lot of where I ended up although I think I think once you get to the

1:10.0

back end the priorities maybe change a little bit when you get to that 8 9 10 on this list

1:14.7

but that's where my mind was as I drew this up and I think with one player in particular who has

1:20.5

been very good this year I think that pushed him a little lower

1:24.1

just because of like the positional archetype

1:26.3

that he represents.

1:27.0

We'll get into that when we talk about him.

1:28.4

Agreed on pretty much all fronts.

1:30.0

I think that what a player could be,

1:32.3

you know, this is a little bit more future

1:34.2

focused at times a little bit more optimistic, but one of the other things I'll add is for me,
