I'm Ryan Bergara. I'm Byron Morin. And for today's episode, we're ranking the top 10 original music pieces in all rides.

That means shows are going to be exempt from the listing in this show.

And also, there's going to be a kind of interesting, specific set of rules here,

because when it comes to film scores, or not film scores, but ride scores, rather,

there are certain distinctions that we need to make up top here.

For example, the music on Cosmic Rewind would not qualify for listing in this because,

you know, Conga by Gloria Stephan was not made by, you know, Mickey Mouse was made by Gloria

Stefan.

However, there may be rides that feature music from popular IP, but still created original music specific and unique to that ride, and those would qualify for listening.

And this is separate from simply arranging music.

For example, the ride Star Tours utilizes different snippets of John Williams' original score arranged, uh, uh,

originally composed for Star Wars and it was arranged for the ride by Richard Bellas.

That would not qualify because he's just, he's just moving around things that were scored

for a movie and then retrofitting them to a ride.

However, Richard Bellis did compose the Star Tours theme itself.

So you could, you know, list that if you wanted to.

That also means Indiana Jones is out, Tower of Terror is out, Splash Mountain is out,

because all of those us just arrangements of movie scores that already exist. Though there was a

pretty lengthy process to arrange the Indiana Jones score. We could maybe talk about that later.

And lastly, defunct attractions are game.

So a lot that's going into all of our lists.
