You're going to go. As we enter the first year of the 12 team expanded college football

playoff you've got some people in pundits out there say that they think it's

going to hurt the regular season from the jump.

And I couldn't disagree more for a couple reasons.

One, the back end of the season, you still have a chance to make the college football

playoff which would therefore give you a chance to win a national

championship. So now if you're nine and two Tennessee playing

eight and four Kentucky outside of just hoping maybe that

extra win or get you a new year six bowl maybe that last game can help you back door

your way into the college football playoff if you're not playing in the SEC

championship game.

Now imagine that times a million.

But let's look on the front end of the regular season.

You can actually lose a couple games, mostly non-conference,

and still have a chance to make the college football

playoff if you turn it around like I don't know Virginia Tech did at the end of

last year and a couple others so to me to say that it's not that it's going to reduce the importance or the fun or the excitement little level of the regular season

Also another caveat in a point I think we need to make sure that we hit when it comes down to conference championship games mattering.

Well, that's not the regular season. That's a post-season game. But I still have a hard time believing that any fans or any players or any coaches on any team

Wouldn't want to try and one not only go win a ring so regardless of what happens after you still have a championship, but to win a conference

championship to be able to get a buy as one of the powerful conference champions in the college
