Welcome into another episode of the PFF college football show Max Chavrick alongside Dalton Wasserman here to break down my top 10 edge rushers in college

football entering the 2025 season in Dallon I think on all these lists so far I've asked

you at the end of the episode hey which thinks should there anyone be in the list is it

should anyone be higher or low and you go go, no, it's pretty good.

This one, though, you even told me pre-show, there are a lot of names that are not on this list.

He's like, man, I don't know how you left this guy off. I don't know how you left that guy off.

Just goes to show you, this is a deep, deep edge position that we've gotten to so far. I'm taking a guess here. I know wide receiver was a

hard one because of the amount of depth and even, you know, the top might have been easy,

obviously with Jeremiah Smith, but the depth and narrowing it down to 10 must have been tough.

This must have been the next toughest one. Whereas the top, I'd say top three or four here make a ton of

sense. You go, yeah, those are the guys right that need to be at the very top. But the depth, this was another one when I was looking at. I was like, man, he could

have gone top 15 or 20. And it would have been a really fun list to talk about. Obviously, we weren't

going to keep Eli here all day doing a top 20 because we could do that all day. But no, certainly a ton of talent. We're going to talk about even a couple of guys that just missed out because there's some real talent and a lot of different places in the country right now off the edge.

I think you could argue it's the deepest position group on the defensive side, at least in college football.

I don't want to keep – I don't really care about keeping Eli here past that, but he does have his fiancé Elizabeth here right now. I don't want to have Elizabeth sit here listening to us talking about 25 different edge rush. She certainly has better things to do with her. We could guarantee that one for sure.

Eli is fine, but Elizabeth, I don't want her put her through that. So we're only going to go over

my top 10 slash 11 edge rushers and comfortable. At the end of the episode, Don, we'll talk about

a couple of guys he thinks that could have been on this list that are very, very talented players as well.
