As good news and bad news, the good news is that more and more of the world is getting

vaccinated.

More and more of America is getting vaccinated.

The bad news is that this new variant of the COVID virus that popped up first in South

Africa and has now appeared in numerous countries.

And I believe has appeared in the United States.

The AstraZeneca vaccine only is 10% effective against it.

In fact, in South Africa, they have stopped the rollout of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.

Pfizer, the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, they're saying that still works against the variant.

And if I'm remembering correctly, the Pfizer vaccine is the one that requires the dry ice

cooling and the AstraZeneca just requires the cooling, although I may have them backward

all these companies.

So this is one of the reasons why it's so important to get the virus under control all

around the world.

It's one of the reasons why it was so important to control it in the beginning.

Here in the United States and elsewhere, it's one of the reasons why the failure of the

Chinese Communist government to acknowledge it and putting a whistleblower in jail or

punishing him and all that kind of stuff was such a horrible crime.

And I get it that that was Donald Trump's hobby horse, but even a stopped clock is

right twice a day, not to say that all of his attacks on China were right, but this virus
