Welcome back to another helping of Oyster's Clams and Cockles.

Listen, this feels like an assholes podcast and my thing from the first meeting was that

it shouldn't feel like an assholes podcast. Well, we're all, that's fine because you're

about to be reborn into the world of Barrett Dutton.

Did you see this coming? I had just enough birthday.

Did you see this coming, though, that the main show in your life right now would be a birthday

episode lined up with your birthday. Do you know what? I literally didn't even think

about that until you just said it, right? Right the second on this very podcast.

No shit. Yeah. Okay. Well, it hit me pretty, pretty immediately that it was your birthday.

Because just in general, I would say, yeah, this was one of the more difficult watches

in terms of like, you know, my own personal mental health state and then that of the show.

And it was depressing is what I mean. It was a depressing episode because you have to watch

Kendall get just crushed. Yeah, it's funny that you say that because it's obviously very,

very dark, but it was also, I mean, wickedly funny. It was as John Travolta might say wickedly funny.

I was laughing out loud. It was one of many episodes where it's like after the, you know,

the 14th time where I tried to like bookmark a line in my head to like talk about on the

show. I was like, God damn it. I need to be taking notes for this because it was so rapid

fire. It was so funny. And much like you talked about last week about how the episode kind

of like took you out of any succession funk that you may have been in and like fully brought

...
