Full of two, Liverpool two. What are you meant to do? I mean look the short answer is be better in the game of football, try more to win. There is a huge, I don't know, an overriding sense of fear, I think, running through this football team at the moment.

And I understand why.

I understand where it's come from.

But it needs to stop.

And sooner rather than later,

because if Liverpool wants to be in a battle for fourth place,

then continue to play the way they're playing right now. And I think they will be in a battle, not guaranteed fourth place, I think they'll be in a battle for it. I think

Chelsea will be there or thereabouts. I think Man United might be there or thereabouts as well.

And it could be one of those three teams. If at any point in the coming weeks Liverpool decides to just be a bit

braver and a bit more aggressive, there's a chance that they can kick on from that, but it feels

fanciful to say it at the moment. I am consoled by the fact that, you know, five weeks ago

saying the idea that Liverpool could go on a, what, eight or nine, game,

one beat and run sound that absolutely ludicrous and impossible.

So it stands the reason that their circumstances can change and continue to change for the better.

And there are, of course, mitigating circumstances.

Liverpool are going through something of an injury crisis at the moment, in addition to

obviously Salabian and Afcon, which was a known thing. So I'm not sure how much of an excuse that particular element is. But they're getting players back who are not fully up to fitness. They've legged a few other players more than I think they would have liked. Eckertiki not being available for today because of the injury to Isaac means he's played more football and therefore he's more susceptible to injuries. That's the knock on effect. Liverpool don't look fit, you know, and some of that is

the knock on impact of injuries, some of it is disrupted preseason and some of it is just,

I just presume how they've been trained. They don't look super fit, they don't look super energetic

and we don't play a super energetic brand of football that's running them into the ground.

We just look very mediocre in how we play.

We don't play an exciting, energetic brand of football.
