So I need to tell you all about a book that I just read and I really could not stop reading it.

So I couldn't wait to tell you guys about it.

You know, I read a lot of true crime and this one is similar to true crime and similar to cases that I actually talk about.

The ending is super good, you guys. And it's really suspenseful. So I think you will like

this book, whether you're an avid reader or you're an average true crime fan. It's called It Happened on

the Lake by Lisa Jackson. I was not even planning on starting a new book, but I picked it up.

I read the first chapter and I was super invested. It happened on the lake is a domestic suspense thriller set in the 1960s and the 80s.

And it follows a woman returning to her family's Victorian home on a private island in Oregon.

She's trying to move on.

But when she comes back, she's opening old wounds.

And, you know, they never really healed.

Her grandmother died.

The same night her boyfriend disappeared. Nobody was ever found. No one was charged, but someone

was watching and someone was still watching. So it's so good, you guys. I can't wait till you read it.

So we can talk about the ending together. I'm not going to tell you anymore. It's a lot of those.
