This is Murder in the Morning with Tony Bruske and Stacy Cole.

So Brian Coburger's attorneys just hit pause and basically told the court, hey, we're getting a little more time.

We got to look at the menu a little bit more. We gotta find out more about his childhood,

about all the issues that he may have had, about everything.

So when it comes time to kill him,

maybe you guys think twice.

Seems to be kind of what's going on here.

It is a high profile murder trial.

You've got to make sure the T's are crossed and the eyes are dotted because you don't want to dot the T's and cross the eyes.

That gets a little weird.

It's problematic.

Yeah, it causes issues.

So why is this going on?

Because a recent NBC Dateline episode, they say, blew a hole in any chance of their client

getting a fair trial. Now, I mean, come on, let's be real here. Dateline does episodes on all sorts

of cases. Coburger and Ann Taylor seem to be looking for anything they possibly can put their hands on to go and say,

Oh, you did not want to be a technicality.

This is a fair.

Somebody said this a lot.

But yeah.

While at the end of the day, his DNA's on the knife sheet, he has a shopping history of buying the weapon.

He's taking a bunch of creepy photos of himself.
