Torrential downpours

came after Patriots practice on day two of camp. What are we going to talk about? Well,

we have an unsteady start for the offense to camp, a quarterback depth chart shuffle.

Devon Godshaw entering a new chapter in his holdout and the fast tracking of Jalen Polk.

Phil, we're watching an offense that we saw on the latter portion of practice,

kind of baby stepping its way into the pool.

Toe in, around 1218 is when they started doing their offensive 11-on-11 that was competitive,

and it didn't look so hot.

No, it didn't. And it was really across the board, Tom. The offensive line, I had the offense

both when Drake May and Jacoby Brissette were on the field as having absorbed three sacks,

two separate pressures that essentially led to blown-up plays,

multiple what would have been run stuffs with defenders meeting from Andre Stevenson

or Kevin Harris right at the line of scrimmage.

And so it just was not a productive day.

We could give you the quarterback numbers, and those actually look pretty good on paper.

Drake May was 10 for 12.

Jacoby Burset, I have it right here, was 9 for 13. That doesn't sound all that bad. But the majority
