I was so excited to wake up to the new Turnpike Trubidor's album this morning, only to have it taken down by something even more exciting, and that is the return

of journalism in Kansas City. Yes, my favorite band put out its first album in over six years,

but even more rare than that is actual journalism in Kansas City, and we've got it.

Now, this is pertaining to the Royals' new ballpark and ballpark village.

As you know, the Royals had a news conference come out on Tuesday where they released the

renderings of both ballparks that they

would like to build either downtown or across the river in North Kansas City. Along with that was the

release of information, a poll that came out that said, and the media's run wild with this,

Clay County voters will not support a new stadium, that they don't really

want it. But if they're asked, would you like the Royals to move, they sort of in lukewarm water,
