Hey, y'all. Welcome to the official launch of Boc Talk presented by Wendy's.

I'm so excited to be here with the countdown of baseball for opening week, supported by Provident Credit Unions, super reward checking where we pay you.

All right. I'm so excited. Baseball's about to happen. I even wore a shirt that said baseball because it's

actually happening. I can't wait. We've been working on this podcast since January. It's become my baby.

And now I get to share with you find people. This has been started before the pandemic

hit, not just baseball, but sports. And the reason why we wanted to create this,

I wanted to create this, was I want y'all to act like you and I are sitting there having

a beer or a glass of wine, downing a cheeseburger, watching the game, hanging out,

swapping stories, and just watching these guys play.

I feel like that is such a dynamic in baseball that people have tended to forget about,

and I want to bring that back.

So I have awesome guests line up.

The first one that I'm super, super excited about is going to be one, Mr. Tony Gwynn Jr.

Now, to say I was excited about him as kind of an understatement.

I had a really cool story with him, which I have told him before.

He, of course, hosts a show in San Diego, a sports show in San Diego.

He slid into my DMs asking me to be a guest on his show and my heart melted.

I was a puddle, legit a puddle because back in the day before I was ever considered anything,

if you will, I was simply a baseball fan.

I still am a baseball fan, a big one at that.
