best feedback Tony about the episode that you did. You were really inspiring to people. The great Tony Gilroy writer, director, producer. His credits are from basically

basically creating the Bourne franchise to writing and directing Michael Clayton

to rescuing the Star Wars movie before Ryan Johnson's Star Wars movie and now has

written a movie that is coming out in the next week called

Beirut starring John Ham and Roseman Pike. I watched the movie and I really

dug it. Congratulations. Thank you. I want to get to Beirut and how that happened because I know that it was an older script which I I didn't know anything about it and I watched the movie and I saw Ted Fields credit and I was like Tony wrote this a long time ago

That's just incredible to me.

I wasn't even married yet and today is my 27th anniversary. It's your Beirut

anniversary. It is amazing. So I want to start here because the last time you were on was a few years ago and it was before you'd done a bunch of this stuff.

You were in a period where you were trying to figure out what you wanted to do next and you weren't that sure.

And I'm curious like, how are you spending your days lately?

Like do you write every day?

Do you walk around like just what's a typical day and you know you're one of the most successful

screenwriters of our time and for my money I always tell people you know I think

among the very very best but so like what's a day look like for you now?

There's no, there's no, you know, absolute pattern to how it works.

It depends on what phase I meant. I did a lot, a lot of writing this year.

Too much writing. And my effort this year is going to be all about trying to get out of my room
