Hi, this is me, Steve Richards, with a quick reminder that rock and roll politics is streaming live tonight at 7 o'clock.

My reflection, my main kind of reflection will be on the lessons from the contrasting political careers of David Cameron and Shirley Williams, who of course

died earlier this week. And the lessons are, I think, illuminating and nuanced. There are some

obvious ones, but there are some less obvious ones too. So I'll be reflecting on that in the first half.

In the second half, we're going to get the BBC's reaction statement today to complaints about

their coverage of the death of the Duke of Edinburgh. So I'm going to reflect a bit on that. I know we

discussed it on the podcast earlier this week, but there is more, I think. There are twists to come.

The BBC tried so hard to please, but in doing so unintelligently, there are consequences for it, which are interesting,

I think, and lessons to be learned. So many lessons to be learned tonight. Yeah, stuff on Northern

Ireland. I'm already getting questions for tonight on the situation in Northern Ireland and Brexit.

But of course, during the show,

there will be live questions from before it starts all the way through to the end. And there

will be our usual wholly unreliable prediction. I won't tell you what it is, but you'll get it
