O's and Padres underway.

Jackson Holiday leads off for the Orioles.

Jeremiah Jackson is on deck for the Orioles, Jake,

who has been on an absolute tear.

One of my best friends from college played high school baseball with Jeremiah Jackson.

And like a couple of years ago, he told me about this guy that he played baseball with

that was in the minor leagues for the Angels or whatever. And, you know, I was asking about it, like maybe like earlier this year or something like that. I was like, whatever happened to your buddy that was like in the majors? And he was like, he's in the Orioles minor league system. I'm like, what? He's like, yeah, he's on the triple. I'm like, what? He's on the AAA team. And nonetheless, Jeremiah Jackson gets called up. Jake, he's on like a 12-game hit streak. He's batting 323. He's become the everyday right-fielder batting second. So hopefully he stays on the team, and I can get some hookups for some pretty. Yeah, you got to think about how this affects you. How does he did, Glasser, get something out of this? It's cool and all that the guys having success, but like I need him to stay playing good baseball. And all. Where are you on the Padres? Because we talked about them a while ago and your stance was you just, you can't do it again. I mean, it's the same old story with Preller and San Diego and how they do business. The roster's good. Then it looks great after the trade deadline. And then it's usually the same result when we get to October. Still the same stance for you on the Padres? Or are you warming up to the idea that maybe this year will be a little different?

I am still firmly ten toes down, PJ, on my stance that the San Diego Padres are going

to get everybody to fall in love with them.

Everybody's going to get excited.

It's going to be October.

And everyone's going to say Padres, it's finally time.

It's finally their time, especially PJ.

And this is why now I feel even more strongly about this, to be honest with you.

Especially if they win that division, everybody is going to be running to bet the Padres.

And honestly, I think this is a by point for the Dodgers.

I honestly do. I think we're forgetting how damn good the Dodgers are because they're finally

getting healthier. Their rotation is starting to come together. And now Mookie Betz has finally

started to look like himself a little bit. I think everybody is going to come back just in time for the playoffs when it comes to the Dodgers and they're just going to go back to the World Series. I don't know that they're going to win. They probably do. But I think that we're going to do this again and everyone's going to get so excited and the Padgers are just going to lose to the Dodgers in the playoffs again. you know, I kind of feel like you might be right.

I thought last year the two best teams were the Dodgers and the Padres. Whoever won that series, I thought would win the whole thing. And that's what happened. Jake, I kind of feel like it's going to be the same thing again. I think those two teams are going to meet up, and whoever wins, I think wins it all. Can't get there with the Cubs. I think the Brewers peak too early. The Phillies, that lineup I don't trust, and now Wheeler's out for the year. The Mets, I think the Mets are interesting. Just because I think when that team gets into the playoffs, it'll be a different animal. You know, if Alonzo can be the guy he was last postseason, we know what Soto can do, if Lendor steps up. And I think the Mets will have a little different vibe to them and City Field's such a great environment during October. I think it'll be a little different. The Mets, I think, are intriguing outside of the Dodgers and the Padres, but I really think it's going to come down to those two teams. The American League, Jake, is, are we still Team Astros in the AL? I mean, they're starting to get a little healthy, too, but I am concerned about the bullpen and the hater injury. Just to close the loop on the National League really fast, I also am intrigued by the Mets. And I think I said this to you, PJ, that the Mets, to me, what they're doing with the rotation and the bullpen, just give me a very 2015 Royals vibe, where they don't need Sean Mania to throw seven, eight innings. They get him go five, and then they'll squeeze the life out of you with that bullpen,

and we know, like you said, what that lineup is.
