Summary

On this episode of Tommy Talk, Tommy dives into why we can’t let fear win. Through sharing a story of unexpectedly ending up shirtless on stage with Jennifer Lopez during her Las Vegas residency in front of over 4,000 people, he reflects on how fear nearly took over, but he refused to let it. From that moment, he opens up a bigger conversation about how to channel fear into action instead of letting it hold you back. This episode is for anyone who needs a little push to let go of fear and step into a life where you can truly thrive.

but it will try to throw us, right? It will try to throw us. So as I continue to go through this

1:07.4

journey called Life, and as many of you know, I hit a big milestone of 40

1:11.8

this year. I reevaluate my relationship with things that scare me. And I don't like to be someone

1:18.4

that lives in the state of fear. And quite often in my life, I've been thrown in very

1:23.4

uncomfortable situations, mainly professionally, where I didn't really have a lot of room to have

1:29.9

fear because I couldn't think much about it. I just had to go out there and do it and perform

1:35.0

and you know not worry about what could go wrong because there genuinely wasn't time for it.

1:40.8

So fear is something that I've definitely battled with. I'm feeling fear right now

1:45.8

about an upcoming job that's really big and I've never worked with this team before and I haven't

1:51.7

really worked in the genre before and I feel anxiety and fear. But I'm not going to let it win.

1:56.9

I'm not going to let it win and stop me from doing the job I know I can do. But I wanted to share a story about fear today that I think will make you smile, for one.

2:04.9

It will probably make you laugh for two.

2:07.3

And I think it will help redefine our relationship with fear.
