Bash last night. That's right. NXT's great American Bash from top to bottom, especially

that Cole O'Reilly matching the main event was absolutely fantastic. We break it down

on the latest edition of The Busted Open Podcast. Also, Tommy Dreamer, who is very close

to Terry Funk, gives us his latest conversation with him and the health update right now on

The Busted Open Podcast.

The show opened up with that tag match. I could literally talk probably for the next

hour about that tag match. How much I loved it. And if you're an independent wrestler,

if you're a wrestler signed to any company and you're in a tag team match, go back and

watch that match. It was a contrast of styles. It was a newer, fast paced style. Everybody

freaking got over. They use psychology. Their heat spots were off the charts. Their referee

saves. Their saves for breaking up pinfalls off the charts. Friggin loved that match. I

really did. And was so, so good. Their false finishes. Everything had me so emotionally

invested where I did not know who was going to win. And the best part about it, the pace

never changed. In the sense of if you're going to start off super hot, you better hope

you can continue doing that. And it did. That was a bully 101 where let's open the show
