tomatoes, those tombs that we love to grow in our garden. So the first real question to

answer is have you selected a determinate or an indeterminate variety?

That's going to really change the game as far as how you decide to space your particular tomato crop. And just as a they grow to a certain height. It determined height.

They flower, they fruit, and then they die off, right?

Indeterminate tomatoes, they continue to grow flower and fruit

until they are killed by the first hard frost, which means that for someone

in a warmer climate that could be never. They could keep growing and growing and growing,

and you could squeeze tomatoes out even into October, November, sometimes even early December if you're in the warmest climates out there.
